This amazing place is located in Zipaquirá, a city of Colombia, is a church built in a great stone. It's a sanctuary in honor to "Via Crucis".

It place is incredible because the salt deposits in Zipaquirá were formed 250 million years ago.

it was built in 1950, and It is 120 mts. long. In adittion is 22 mts. high. It is considerated the first Colombia's wonder.

The name "Salt Cathedral" is mostly to attract tourists while a functioning church that receives as many as 3,000 visitors on Sundays

At the bottom of the cathedral you can see a great wood's rear. It is iluminated. In the ceiling is a shadow, it means Cristh in the rear.

Visit this beautiful place costs since 1000 until 30000 pesos, but the pleasure is unforgetable.

There are about 140 hotels in Cancún with more than 24,000 rooms and 380 restaurants. Four million visitors arrive each year in an average of 190 flights daily. The Hotel Zone of Cancun is shaped like a 7 with bridges on each end connecting to the mainland. Hotels on the vertical or long side of the 7 tend to have rougher beaches and beach erosion can be a problem. Resorts on the horizontal or short end of the seven tend to have more gentle surf because the waves here are blocked by the island of Isla Mujeres which lies just off shore. The Hotel Zone offers a broad range of accommodations, ranging from relatively inexpensive motel-style facilities in the older section closest to the mainland, to high-priced luxury hotels in the later sections.

Weather

The temperature here is warm and tropical, moderated by the marine breezes. The temperature extremes have range between a maximum of 39.5ºCand a minimun of 9.5ºC, the maximum temperature are between on January to June.

I didn´t travel to Cancun, but a friend comment me about her visit in this beach.

Montañita "Surf, beach, sun and Bikinis"

Montañita is located along the coastal profile 4 km to noth of Manglar Alto, It si the best beach to practice Surf. It is a small but wonderful beach.











It is the favorite place of national and internacional surfistas and everybody young people. Young people used to go at Montañita when they graduated.

Montañita in the day is a tranquil town, but in the nights the bars is full of people, specially in the weekends. It is one of reason that people say that in the night they do not sleeping. When the tourist arrive of near cities as Guayaquil, in the holidays and the national and internacional championship, realized in February and March.

There are people of diferents countries very friendly. The night is unbelievable because people dancing, singing, eating everywhere.

YUNGUILLA

Yunguilla is a very nice place, It´s located between Cuenca and Machala. There is many turistic hotels. People from Cuenca, Machala and from another cities have their own houses, It´s why many people go there, especialy young people when start vacation and also in carnalval. The climate is temperate, with two seasons: winter between August and January, which is cold, cloudy and wet, and summer between February and july, which is dryer, with warmer days and cool, clear nights.

Cuenca is the capital of the province of Azuay, it's located in the sierra of the Andes in the Austro or southern region of Ecuador. It is approximately nine hours south of Quito (first city in Ecuador) and four hours east of Guayaquil (third city in Ecuador) . Cuenca ranges from 2,350 to 2,550 meters above sea level. The features of the city's geography are also the source of its name: "Santa Ana de los cuatro rios de Cuenca". These rivers are the Tomebamba, Yanuncay, Tarqui and Machangara, in order of importance. The first three of these rivers originate in the Páramo of Parque Nacional el Cajas which is situated at the west of the city. These four rivers are part of the Amazon river watershed. Cuenca (meaning a basin caused by a confluence of rivers) is surrounded by mountains on all sides, with passes to the west, south and east.

Like the rest of the Ecuadorian Andes, Cuenca enjoys a mild climate year-round. Days are generally warm and nights are cool enough that sweaters or jackets are needed. The average daily temperature is 14.6 degrees Celsius. There are two seasons: rainy and dry. Cuenca has about 500.000 inhabitants (the canton).

The center of the city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site because of its historical buildings.

BAÑOS DE AGUA SANTA

Baños is a city in eastern Tungurahua Province, in Ecuador. This city in the second most populous city in Tungurahua, after Ambato, capital and major touristic center. It is known as the "Gatway to the Amazon", as it's located on the Pastaza River in the Amazon River basin, and has a newly paved road to the Puyo.

Baños is located on the northerno foothills of the Tungurahua Volcano. It's named after the hydrothermal springs of mineral water located aroun the city.

The city is also a Roman Catolic religious center, as some Catholic believers say that the Virgin Mary appeared nearby a waterfall. So a sculpture of the virgin, called Virgen de Agua Santa, was placed in the cathedral. Z
